A mine in Lander County, Nevada. It was mined from the late 1950s to 1980, but is now closed and buried under mountains of rock. It is called a hat mine, which means that the amount of mining was very small, and only enough was produced to fit in a hat. Blue Diamond Turquoise is characterized by a black smoky matrix surrounded by vivid blue, resembling Stormy Mountain.
