Turquoise Mountain

A mine in north-central Arizona near the border with Nevada, alongside the Kingman mine, but each has its own distinctive features and so the two are considered separate. Turquoise from Turquoise Mountain has a wide variety of appearances in both color and matrix. The one with a deep blue center is called Bird's Eye. The mine closed in the 1980s.
