New Mexico. Mine closed in the early 1980s. Tyrone turquoise is a vivid blue, hard and highly transparent. It has a gold or brown matrix. It is said to be the bluest turquoise mined in New Mexico. Due to the low production volume, there is very little available, but LFC has a large selection.
