A huge mine near Globe, Arizona. It had good color and was relatively inexpensive, but the mine closed in August 2011, so it is likely that the value of this turquoise will increase in the future. Sleeping Beauty turquoise has almost no matrix and is characterized by a pastel blue color. It is often used for needlepoint and inlay.
