This turquoise was mined from a mine called Turquoise Mountain and is a one-of-a-kind handmade piece made by Native American Roland Dixon.

Turquoise Mountain is a mine located in north-central Arizona near the border with Nevada. It is located next to the Kingman mine, but the two are considered separate because each has its own unique characteristics. There is a wide variation in appearance in both color and matrix. The one with a deep blue center is called Bird's Eye. The mine closed in the 1980s.
