This turquoise was mined from a mine called Bisbee and is a one-of-a-kind handmade piece made by Native American Johnny Pablo.

It was discovered as a by-product of copper mining at the Bisbee copper mining works in Arizona. It is one of the earliest turquoises to be put on the market and is one of the most famous classic mines. It is characterized by a vivid, deep blue color with a purple tint. Some of it has a unique cloud-like matrix, and is called Smoky Bisbee.
