This turquoise was mined from a mine called FOX and is a one-of-a-kind handmade piece made by Native American Art Platero.

Nevada. It is said that Native Americans once mined this stone. After the first mining in 1914, the mine passed through several hands, and in 1941, Dowell Ward named it FOX. It is the largest producer in the state. The color varies, but it often has a beige matrix. Closed.
