This turquoise was mined from a mine called Turquoise Mountain and is a one-of-a-kind handmade item made by Native American Nila Johnson.

A mine in north-central Arizona near the border with Nevada, alongside the Kingman mine, but the two are considered separate because each has its own distinctive features. There is a wide variation in appearance, both in color and matrix. The one with a deep blue center is called Bird's Eye. Closed in the 1980s.
