This turquoise was mined from a mine called Indian Mt. and is a one-of-a-kind handmade piece made by Native American Art Platero.

[Indian Mt.] A mine in Lander County, Nevada. It was rediscovered in 1970 when a Shoshone shepherd fell. The tunnels stretch 46 miles (about 74 km) from east to west of Crescent Valley. Generally, most of the matrices are beige, but dark brown to black are of higher grade.
