This turquoise was mined from a mine called Bisbee.

It is one of the earliest turquoises to be brought to market and is one of the most famous classic mines. It is characterized by a vivid, deep blue color with a purple tint. Some of it contains a unique cloud-like matrix, and is called Smoky Bisbee.
